Methods of Treatment

You can choose from various ways of taking in ginger. There are lots of forms:

  • Ginger oil can be used to massage your back and neck. You can also blend it with your bath water so that it can help soothe your body. You may also blend the ginger oil with a base cream whenever you feel arthritis symptoms coming on.
  • Get fresh ginger root and slice it into thin strips. Boil it with water and let it simmer for thirty minutes while covered. After thirty minutes, cool it down and strain the ginger out. Add some honey to the water so that it will taste better, and drink it.
  • You may also incorporate it with sesame oil. Get some fresh ginger and grate it. Remove the juice, but don’t throw it, because you have to mix the juice with the sesame oil. Heat the mixture up and rub it in the afflicted area. This is one of the homemade ointments wherein ginger is used.

Ginger has been used for centuries by the Chinese, Japanese and traditional Indians not only in cooking, but also as medicine for many aches and pains. After being proven effective over centuries, there is no reason why you cannot use it for your neck pain problems today.
